The Nancy Stephenson Memorial Trophy is presented at the end of the Chorus Contest.
- Award Description: Traveling bowl with a red quilted carrying case.
- First Awarded: 1987
- Donated by: Dean Stephenson in memory of his wife, Nancy, who was a member of the Great River Echoes Chapter of the Quad Cities, IL & IA.
- Presented by: Area 4 Director
- Awarded to: The highest ranking small chorus, having 25 members or less. Dual members will be counted in the numbers but the director will not.
- To Determine Winner: List those chapters with 25 or fewer chapter members. (Requires information from the Corporate Office of membership number for all Area 4 competing choruses as of April 1 chapter charter renewal.) Of those listed, the chorus with the highest rank is the recipient. NOTE: If there are no competing choruses with 25 or fewer chapter members, the award is not presented for that year and is kept by the ACJC. The Area ACJC has the responsibility of obtaining the membership cost of each chorus.
- Tie is broken by: The chorus attaining the highest Singing category score; if that does not break the tie, then by the highest Music category score.
